Abuja – The police in Abuja, on Monday, arraigned one Olayinka Bakare at a Grade I Area Court, Nyanya, sitting in Mpape, Abuja for alleged mischief.
Bakare, a resident of Gwari village in Mpape, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against her.
The prosecutor, Augustine Mbakwe, told the court that one Tasiu Abdullahi of the same address with the defendant, reported the matter at the Mpape Police Station on May 27.
The complainant reported that on the fateful day the defendant allegedly damaged his Zinc door valued N3,500.
Mbakwe said that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 327 of the Penal Code.
The judge, Abdullahi Ogedemgbe, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
Ogedembe ordered that the surety must reside within the court jurisdiction and adjourned the case until July 10 for further hearing.
