President Bola Tinubu has lauded the strides made by his administration over the past year, acknowledging both achievements and ongoing challenges that are being tackled head-on.
Speaking during a meeting with a delegation of Yoruba Leaders of Thought at the State House, President Tinubu emphasized the importance of transformative governance and addressing the critical needs of citizens.
“We have managed to stem the bleeding and are now steering Nigeria towards prosperity,” President Tinubu remarked, highlighting the commitment to delivering on promises made to the nation.
Acknowledging the turbulent waters Nigeria has navigated, President Tinubu assured that the worst is over and reiterated his administration’s determination to ensure the impact of good governance reaches all Nigerians.
“We will ensure that every kobo spent delivers value to Nigerians and leaves a lasting legacy of prosperity for future generations,” President Tinubu affirmed.
Furthermore, President Tinubu underscored the need for deepening governance and reinforcing leadership at all levels, emphasizing the importance of fiscal federalism and inclusive development.
“Local governance must be strengthened, and states must take responsibility for the development of their people,” President Tinubu asserted, rejecting any move towards centralization and advocating for flexibility and growth at the grassroots level.
