Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri has said that the assertion by a presidential aide to the effect that Buhari is a private citizen ought to be an embarrassment to President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said Buhari as a private citizen would not have occupied London Abuja House and would not have addressed Nigerians after the Ozubulu massacre and assuring us of our safety.

Sundiata Post recalls that the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie had on Channels Television programme titled “Politics Today” on Monday said, “It is not right for Nigerians to ask for the health status of President Buhari.

“For the life of me, I have no idea why anybody should disrespect another by asking for the details of their health status. As we speak, we have an acting president. As we speak, President Buhari seems to be like a private citizen at the moment. We have no right and it is very disrespectful for anyone to ask for his health status. In the UK where I came from nobody would release anybody’s health record to another, not even the members of their family unless the person decides to approve, Lauretta added.

Reno, while debunking Lauretta’s claims said the following:

“He stays at Abuja House which the public pays for, not Buhari House.

“Yesterday (Monday), President Buhari issued a statement condemning the Ozubulu massacre and assuring us of our safety”.

Reno added that: “Nigerians are tired of a part time President. Nigeria is tired of a free-lance President. Nigeria is tired of a private citizen President!

Pastor Reno made the reactions on his twitter handle @renoomokri.
