“You are focussed, highly educated, humble and experienced public officer. I think the people of Rivers State could not have asked for a better governor. We are behind you but please remember us in your kingdom”, he said.‎

He prayed for him, promising to mobilize the needed support for APC and Peterside on March 28 and 11 April.

“You are a good man. Before you arrived here, your goodness had reverberated, particularly the work you did in Ogoni Land as Commissioner of Works. Our people will never forget”.

Similarly, His Royal Highness, Mene Sunday Kabari Nule, the Menebua of Baa also extolled the virtues of Peterside when the candidate visited him in his palace in Taabaa.

“I am happy for one reason. I am sitting with the people’s choice and the next governor of Rivers State. But he is also a member of my church, so I see him every Sunday. Peterside is my brother and I am proud of his achievements. He has been endorsed by all the traditional rulers in Rivers State and as an institution, you are aware that we only endorse people we respect and honour. Peterside is in that category”.
