Sand Eagles to jet out April 10 for CAF Beach Soccer Championship

– The Nigeria Sand Eagles would on April 10, jet out for the forthcoming 2015 CAF Beach Soccer in Roche Caiman, Seychelles.

The Head Coach of the , Audu Ejo, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in .

He said that with the enormous support from the Nigeria Federation (NFF) the would perform well.

“We have never had it so good, in terms of support and encouragement, and Vice President of the federation have done well. They have been with us during .

“As we speak, our tickets and our hotel reservations have been made, something that has never happened.

“Usually when it is a week from the we start running around.

“But as it is, our players are mentally and psychologically , we intend to it to the final, so we can qualify for the World cup,’’ Ejo said.

NAN reports that eight countries from the confederations, namely Egypt, Morocco, Madagascar, Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast Seychelles and Nigeria had qualified for the final .

No fewer than 16 players were invited for camping in Badagry which opened on March 19.

Twelve players be chosen in the final selection to represent the country in the tournament.

In the 2013 edition of the CAF championship in Morocco, Sand Eagles crashed out in the second round.
