Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Senate has rejected the nomination of former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Danladi (Taraba) and Stella Okotete (Delta) due to security matter.
The upper legislative chamber cleared and confirmed the nomination of 45 nominees sent to it by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Senate President, Godswill Akpabio explained that the three nominees, were not confirmed due to lack of security clearance.
“Three others are awaiting security clearance” Akpabio said.
