Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The federal lawmaker that represented Kaduna Central senatorial district at the 8th Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has chided the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over its anti-protest utterances and postures of late against Nigerians.
Shehu Sani who reminded that protest was the stock-in-trade of APC when they were in opposition, warned that you cannot plant cocoanut seeds of protest and now want to harvest the orange fruits of silence.
Sundiata Post recalls that former Minister of Aviation and member of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode, has threatened the supporters of the opposition parties – Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party – to desist from their attempts to annul the 2023 presidential election which produced Bola Tinubu.
Fani-Kayode said this in a release on Saturday, adding that the country would be made ungovernable if supporters of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi did not stop their protests against the result of the 2023 election.
Shehu Sani gave the warning via his verified Twitter handle @ShehuSani.
The statement reads:
“When the Governing party was in the opposition,it planted the Coconut seeds of protests and now wants to harvest the Orange Fruits of Silence.”
