Johannesburg – South Africa’s net gold and foreign exchange reserves were at 41.308 billion dollars in October, up slightly from 41.153 billion in dollars September, Reserve Bank data showed on Friday.

Gross reserves, however, dipped to 46.051 billion dollars from 46.126 billion dollars previously.
The forward position, which represents the central bank’s unsettled or swap transactions, was at 2.228 billion dollars in October versus 2.19 billion dollars. (Reuters/NAN)
