JOHANNESBURG – South Africa’s producer inflation slowed more than expected to 7.1 percent year-on-year in March from 8.1 percent in February, the statistics agency said on Thursday.
On a month-on-month basis, prices at the factory gate were up 0.7 percent, compared with a 0.8 percent increase the previous month, Statistics South Africa said.
