ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Sundiata Post Media Ltd., publishers of Nigeria’s fastest growing and most authoritative online newspaper Sundiata Post, has announced the appointments of Mrs. Chidera Anya, as Human Resources & Business Development Manager and Mrs. Nse Anthony-Uko as Business & Economy Editor to further strengthen its operations within and outside the country.
Prior to joining Sundiata Post, Mrs Anthony-Uko, with more than 15 years experience in financial journalism, worked as Assistant Business Editor at Leadership Newspaper from 2012 to 2016. She was also acting business editor at the same company from March 2015 to May 2016.
She also worked as Research & Communications Officer from 2008 to 2011 in DEAP Capital Management Company Plc.
Anthony-Uko, a graduate of publishing from the Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos, started her journalism career as a business reporter at the defunct Post Express Newspaper from 2000 to 2003 before moving to BusinessDay as correspondent from 2003 to 2008.
Between 2000 and 2008 she reported the financial markets covering various sectors like insurance, capital market and money market.
On her part, Mrs Anya, holds a B.Sc in Mass Communication from the Imo State University, Owerri.
She joins Sundiata Post with more than five years experience, having served in various capacities as business development executive and customer relations officer.
Before joining Sundiata Post, she was a business development executive at Leadership Newspaper Online from 2014 to 2015.
Mrs Anya also worked with the defunct Enterprise Bank Limited as Customer Service/Contact Centre Supervisor from 2012 to 2014.

Proof to that, she worked with Etisalat/Customer Solutions Nigeria Limited as call centre agent in 2012.
Commenting on the appointments, Mr. Max Amuchie, CEO/Editor-in-Chief of Sundiata Post, in a statement on Tuesday, expressed confidence that the company was now further strengthened to provide better quality news and editorial content to its teeming readers in an accurate and timely manner.
