“It is time for change. The general elections in 2015 in Nigeria will be critical to the nation’s survival.’’
The statement urged Nigerians to exercise their franchise and vote for candidates of their choice during the elections and ensure that their votes count.
It also enjoined INEC to provide a level playing field for political parties.
“The need to conduct free, fair, peaceful, credible and acceptable elections cannot be over emphasised.’’
It said 2015 is a year of decision to choose those who will lead the nation for the next four years.
“The February 2015 general elections is critical to the survival of our democracy.
“It is our chance to restore the glory of our fatherland battered by incompetent leaders since 1999.
“A vote for UPP is a vote for a greater Nigeria of our dream’’, the statement said.
According to the statement, UPP’s presidential candidate, Chief Chekwas Okorie is a man of exceptional patriotism who should be voted for in 2015.
