According to him, the tour had enlightened and exposed the match officials to various rudiments of the game.
NAN reports that 11 Elite Referees participated in the tour that was bankrolled by the Nigeria Football Association (NFA).
The two weeks tour took the officials to the English FA High Performance training center, St. George Park, London.
“We learnt a lot during the tour. It was a refreshing programme that we needed. There will be improvement in our officiating, come next season.
“That was the first batch. More referees will still go because nobody will be left out.
“The training has exposed us to various structural works and communication strategies in the course of officiating.
