Ahmadu Fintri, the Acting Governor of Adamawa State, Monday, said members of the State House of Assembly did not collect any money from anybody to sack the former governor, Murtala Nyako as being insinuated.
Fintri said this while fielding questions from State House correspondents, after he visited President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa.
He said the state remain calm, as the new government had been into confidence building, “having removed Nyako and the destruction of infrastructure and moral of our people.”[eap_ad_2]
Fintiri added that “we have gone into building of confidence. We are trying to pay our salaries. Salaries of workers because for months, he has not paid their salaries. That is what we are doing now.”
