
ABUJA (SundiataPost) – Nigeria on Tuesday appeared to have entered a dangerous level in COVID-19 infections as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 663 new cases of COVID-19, the highest daily record of new infections.
Lagos, which is the epicentre of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria reported 170 new cases; closely followed by Ogun State with 108 cases.
Bauchi and Ebonyi got 69 and 49 respectively while Edo and Rivers reported 33 and 30 respectively. The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now stand at 13,464.
