GUSAU – The youth in Zamfara on Monday said they had resolved to vote out politicians,who promoted [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]violence in the state in the forthcoming polls.
Mallam Ibrahim Abdulhamid, the Secretary-General, Zamfara Students/Youths Forum, said this in [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]Gusau.
“As you can see, our leaders, especially politicians, do not wish us to be good leaders of tomorrow,“ he said.
He said recent attack on some youth by thug was a violation of the pact against political violence signed [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]by major political parties in the country.
The youth leader urged security agents to thoroughly investigate recent attack on the youth secretariat and bring the culprits and their sponsors to book.
He also urged the youth not to be used by selfish politicians, adding, “the money they use for such [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]
devilish acts can be used in training the youth to make them responsible members of our societies,“ he said.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Lawal Abdullahi, said the police command in the state would investigate recent attack on the youth secretariat.
He assured that the attackers would soon be apprehended.(NAN)
