Sango-Ota (Ogun) – Two persons of no fixed addresses, Kayode Ogbede, and Shefiu Oke, were on Tuesday arraigned in an Ota Magistrates’ Court, Ogun, for alleged shop breaking and stealing items worth N200,000.
Ogbede, 20, and Oke, 19, are being tried on a three-count- charge of stealing, burglary and conspiracy.
The prosecutor Sgt. Chudu Gbesi, had told the court that the accused persons committed the offences on Aug. 9 at about 6.30 a.m. at Market Road, Atan, Ota.
Gbesi said that the accused persons conspired and broke into a shop and stole items valued at N200,000, belonging to one Jinodu Oluwafemi.

The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 390(9), 411 and 516 of Criminal Code Vol.1 Laws of Ogun State, 2006.
The accused persons, however, pleaded not guilty to the offences.
Senior Magistrate S.O. Banwo, granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 each, with one surety each in like sum and adjourned the case till Aug. 27 for trial. (NAN)
