“We are preparing Chierika for a training camp in the USA and Akinyemi is presently also training in the UK in preparations for the Olympics.

“There is going to be the final training very close to Brazil before the athletes move to the Olympics camp.

“And of course they have been financially been supported presently, they are not missing anything, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports are doing their part, the NOC are equally doing their part and the federation through the president is also supporting the athletes.

“So, they are not lacking anything for now, we have exposed them to different international championships.’’
