407 die, 5,101 discharged as Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases hit 15,682

ABUJA (SundiataPost) – A total of 407 Nigerians have died from COVID-19 infections since since the index case in Nigeria was confirmed in Lagos on 27 February 2020.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known late on Saturday night on its Twitter handle @NCDCgov.
The agency also reported 501 new cases, even as it informed that 5,101 infected persons have been treated and discharged.
The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, according to the report, is 15,682.
