Mora said the bridge would be located at the north gate of the campus to provide easy passage over the busy Zaria-Funtua-Sokoto Expressway for residents of Samaru village.
He said the bridge would end the hardship suffered by thousands of students and staff of the university residing in Samaru while crossing the expressway.
According to him, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has offered to finance the project with support from his associates.
While congratulating members of the committee, Mora stressed the need for transparency and accountability in line with the change agenda of the present administration of which Atiku is a major stakeholder. (NAN)
