Yola – Alhaji Abdullahi Yapak, Vice Chairman of the appropriation committee Adamawa State House of Assembly, said that the house would ensure speedy passage of the 2017 budget.
Yapak, made this known during the road project inspection tour by Gov. Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa in Yola.
He said that that the speedy passage of the 2017 appropriation would ensure speedy execution of projects in the state.
Yapak, who is also an APC member representing Vere state constituency, commended Bindow for ensuring strict implementation of the 2016 budget.
Yapak said that the 25 kilometer Yola/Maine road construction awarded at N3.6 billion when completed, would boost economic activities in that constituency.
The law maker who commended the governor for not abandoning the project inherited from the previous administration assured the governor of continued support for the transformation of the state.
Earlier, Bindow thanked the state legislatures for their cooperation adding it would continue to yield positive results in the state.
He enjoined the contractor handling the project to ensure the speedy completion of the project.
He assured the people of the state for more road infrastructure projects in the state.
