A United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official is “fairly confident” there will be further indictments in the criminal investigation into Fifa.
The chief of the IRS United in charge of criminal investigations, Richard Weber, said he expected further indictments.
Weber added: “I don’t think there was ever a decision or a declaration that we would go after soccer.
“We were going after corruption.”
Despite the scandal that has rocked Fifa, president Sepp Blatter was re-elected on Friday.
