Following his expulsion the All Congress, the immediate past, Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State, chairman the party, Sulaiman Adamu has reacted.

Reacting, Adamu urged his supporters to remain the party.

He described his expulsion the APC which was ratified by the Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee, on Wednesday, as an act God, which he accepts good faith.

Adamu, who spoke to one our Correspondents, on Thursday, however, said, the party was yet to officially communicate its decision to him.

He said, “I have accepted my fate. I see it as Allah’s will. All I have ever wanted is for the APC to remain power and this can only be guaranteed by our victory at the polls.

“But now, I have been expelled. Notwithstanding, I will still urge my followers not to leave the APC. We built this party with our sweat; it is inconceivable to now encourage them (my followers) to leave.

“Since this solely affected me; when I meet with them, I will tell them not to leave but to stay. I accept my fate. May God bring peace to our country.”

“There will be elections, I have my voter’s card, right. At least, they have not stripped me that. Because I have never been a member of any political party other than the APC. So, don’t even expect me to join the PDP.”
