Abuja (Sundiata Post) – AREWA Christians and Indigenous Pastors Association (ACIPA), has extended warm greetings and felicitations to all Muslims in Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
Chairman of the group Rev. Luke Shehu in a statement he personally signed on Wednesday said Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a significant celebration in the Islamic calendar.
“We also pray for all the legislators in the 10th Assembly and all Governors as well as the incoming Cabinet members.
“We also specially pray for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that God will guide and protect him”, Shehu said.
He continued: “I acknowledge the profound spiritual significance of this occasion and recognize the immense contributions of the Muslim community in promoting peace, unity, and progress in Nigeria.
“I urge all Muslims in the country to deepen their commitment to the principles of peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence”, he said.
