– The federal government has been urged to arrest Nnmadi Kanu – Arewa Youth Assembly made this call during a peaceful protest in Abuja on August 9 – The group accused Kanu of undermining the sovereignty of Nigeria Arewa Youth Assembly on Wednesday, August 9 held a protest to demand for the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu over the unity of Nigeria. The group who took to the streets under Police watch said unity of the country is non-negotiable while calling for the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra. The group insisted that Nnamdi Kanu is undermining the sovereignty of the country through his agitation for Biafra.
