Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Saturday in Jos, inaugurated its youth campaign directors, for its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the State governorship candidate, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
Mutfwang, during the inauguration charged the newly commissioned campaign directors to work for the party’s victory in 2023.
According to him: “I urge all of you here to take your assignments seriously as it is a test that only shows you are on training for bigger leadership tasks ahead in the not too distant future”, he said.
Emphasizing the need to mobilize effectively at the ward level, Chairman of the PDP in Plateau State, Hon. Chris Hassan noted that the responsibility placed before them demands an utmost sense of duty.
Recounting his rise to the current chairmanship position, Hassan noted that: “It is in little things that diligence or the lack of it is exposed. I served the party from the polling units but here I am today. With your youthful energy and the guidance of the elderly, there is no room for excuse”, he said.
Inaugurating the Zonal and State coordinators, PDP youth campaign Director General, Hitler Pwajok charged them to give their all as the expectations of Plateau can only be delivered if their youthful energy can be used positively.
Pwajok reiterated that: “It is important to salvage Plateau from the ruins it currently faces as a result of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), failure”.
Sundiata Post reports that a total of 811 officials were inaugurated at the event to drive campaign at the grassroots, with expectations of delivering the State to the PDP.
