Beidha (Libya)- Libyan Health Minister, Ridha al-Oukli on Sunday, said four persons died of complications arising from Avian Influenza in Libya.He, nonetheless, stressed that the country had not recorded any case of Ebola Virus Disease.
Al-Oukli said that one person died from the complication in the eastern city of Tobrouk, while three others died in Tripoli.

According to him, one suspected case of Avian Influenza is being treated in a medical centre in Tobrouk.
The minister said the World Health Organisation (WHO) has been informed about the deaths.
He said that WHO had also informed him of a plan to send specialists to Libya within 48 hours to assist the country in bringing the situation under control.(PANA/NAN)
