Super Eagles’ right back Leon Balogun has spoken of his excitement at being called up by Nigeria for Wednesday’s international friendly against Uganda. The Darmstadt 98 of Germany defender played his only previous game for the Super Eagles more than a year ago, when he starred in the second half of the friendly with Mexico at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, USA, but then got injured and was on crutches the following day. The accident effectively ruled him out of consideration for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
