Abuja – The Bangladesh Hajj Mission on Thursday expressed it readiness to partner with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to enhance hajj management.
A statement signed by the Chief Information officer of NAHCON, Malam Mousa Ubadawaki, noted that the Counsellor of Bangladesh Hajj Mission in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Rahman, made the pledge when he visited the NAHCON office in Makkah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He said both NAHCON and Bangladesh hajj mission shared some similarities and experiences, enhance the need to learn and share information together with a view to make some improvements.
Rahman was quoted as saying that Hajj should not be limited to only spiritual, but should be explored to forge closer ties and relationships between friendly countries.
He added that the Bangladesh mission was ready to provide NAHCON with required logistics as well as information, while soliciting other areas of cooperation.
Responding, the Executive Chairman of NAHCON Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad, expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Bangladesh Hajj mission for the bilateral visit.
Muhammad said that the courtesy visit would further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries as well as the two organisations.
” Hajj is a unifying factor. It should not only serve the spiritual purpose, but also to explore the brotherly relations and learning from one another.
” I agreed that we need to learn from each other”, Muhammad said.
The NAHCON boss, therefore, said that the commission was ready to offer assistance to the Bangladesh mission in the areas in which the commission had been recording major feats.
