New Delhi – Three flights from the Indian capital were subjected to bomb scares over a period of 24 hours, news reports said on Thursday.
All passengers and crew of a Nepal Airlines flight scheduled to take off for Kathmandu and an Air India flight to the eastern Indian city of Bhubaneswar were evacuated after the bomb alerts.
It said that the flights took off hours late after airport security staff screened the aircraft, passengers, crew members and baggage.

On Wednesday, an Air India flight was told to park in an isolated area after it landed at Suvarnabhumi airport in Bangkok.
An emergency plan was activated and all passengers were evacuated but no bomb was found on the plane.
According to data from the Civil Aviation Ministry, there were five emergency landings in India in 2015 due to bomb threat calls. (dpa/NAN)
