ABUJA – For the first time the COVID-19 pandemic has found its way in Imo State. This brings the total number of states so far affected to 28 in addition to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its latest update late on Saturday night, 87 new cases were recorded out of which 33 cases were in Lagos. The FCT had no new case.
The number of discharged patients has increased to 222 while deaths from the pandemic now stand at 35.

As at 11:55 pm 25th April there are 1182 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
Discharged: 222
Deaths: 35
One case who was confirmed in Lagos State, traveled to Ondo State for treatment.
Therefore, the number of cases in Lagos is 689 and the number of cases in Ondo is 4
