Port Harcourt – Coach of Dolphins FC of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma, on Monday commended five players who made their debut for the team in a week 22 Glo Premier league match against Abia Warriors.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that even though the match played at the Liberation Stadium Port Harcourt ended 1-1, Eguma, he was full of praises for the fighting spirit exhibited by the debuting players.
“I must commend my players, especially, the new players that made their debut for the team. They displayed fighting spirit and gave a good account of themselves.
“My team played well, in spite of what I perceive to be bad officiating. I was not too comfortable with some of the calls made by the referee, but we are okay with the outcome of the match,’’ he said.
