The Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC) and the the Independent Democratic (ID) have elected Yul Edochie and Franklin Ndife, respectively as candidates of the party for the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.
While Edochie, a known movie actor was elected by a 140-man delegate of the party, Ndife, a farmer was elected by 243 delegates, all through voice votes conducted by officials of the party and monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Dailypost report.
