ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – The crisis rocking the Edo State Government between Governor Adams Oshiomhole and the deputy governor, Dr. Pius Odubu over the 2016 governorship election in the state, has snowballed into another crisis in the State House of Assembly.
On Tuesday (today), Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Victor Edoror and his deputy were impeached in a dramatic move by members of the Assembly. They are both of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Honourable Ativie was promptly elected speaker.
Observers say the development would pave way to the impeachment of the deputy governor, Odubu.
