Ado-Ekiti – Ekiti State Football Association on Tuesday said it had concluded arrangements with an England-based football expert, Mr Daniel Purzycki, to train youths with his experience in football.
The Chairman of the Association, Mr Desmond Alabi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) of the development in Ado-Ekiti.
He said that it was in line with association’s agenda of promoting grassroots football and igniting the interest of Ekiti youths in playing football.
“Before the end of next month, the selected teams will be travelling to England to meet Purzycki and his technical crew.
“The association is committed to develop talented youths and build a formidable football teams that foreign clubs can easily come to buy from us.

“I have made plans to organise more grassroots football competitions in order to discover more young talents, “he said.
The chairman charged youths to develop their skills by participating in sports regularly.
He said that the state football association would not relent in its efforts at transforming and promoting football in Ekiti State.
NAN reports that Top World Football Academy, the club owned by the chairman of the association, and other talented youths are due for England to have foreign exposure in football. (NAN)
