Ilorin – The National Vice Chairman, North-Central chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Sule Ajayi, on Thursday called on the electorate in the state to demand for good governance from politicians.
Ajayi, who made the call while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin, said leaders must key into politics of development and also be accountable to their followers.
”There is no way the state will experience genuine democratic dividends if things are done the same way.
”So, it is high time the electorate starts asking questions, so that it will serve as a check on the government,” Ajayi said.
The National vice chairman said the party was “well grounded” in the state and was presently repositioning itself to take its rightful place in the politics of the state.
“We must do away with politics of “godfatherism” in order for the electorate to enjoy the dividends of good governance,” Ajayi said.
