Kaduna –  The Director, Kaduna State Fire Service, Paul Aboi, on Tuesday said that the organisation had promoted 30 members of its staff based on their exceptional dedication to duties.

Aboi told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna that 12 out of them were firemen while 18 were from the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) section.

He said the promotion was an additional responsibility that would require the beneficiaries to put in more efforts toward enhancement of service delivery.

According to him, there are several other benefits that have been lined-up for officers in the service based on merit which include local and overseas’ trainings.

Aboi said the cadres of the promoted officers were: Chief Fire Officer, Principal Fireman, Superintendent Chief Fireman 1 and 2, Senior Fireman.

He said that commitment and dedication to duty by officers and men of the agency would continue to attract the agency’s attention.

Aboi, therefore, called on the promoted officers to carry others along to build a positive relationship among the staff.

The director congratulated all the newly promoted members of staff and urged them to be more committed to their respective duties. (NAN)
