Lagos – The Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education, Dr Oluremi Sopeyin, on Monday urged the 1,200 newly employed primary school teachers in the state to put in their best.
Sopeyin made the appeal in Lagos, saying that Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode had approved their employment in order to boost the capacity in the state’s primary education system.
The SUBEB chairman, who advised successful teachers to pick up their appointment letters, said the service had a system which would definitely reward them for hard work, dedication and honesty.
He said that the state government would continue to do more in order to provide quantitative and qualitative education in the state.

According to him, the successful teachers were appointed following transparent stages of examination processes of international standard, in order to get the best for the state primary school education system.
He advised the teachers, who had earlier been sent SMS messages, to collect their letters of employment at the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board.(NAN)
