Gov. Yero mourns late Modupe Ayoola of NAN

Kaduna (Kaduna state)- Gov. Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State has expressed deep sadness over the death of Mrs Modupe Ayoola, a journalist with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Kaduna Zonal Office.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Ahmed Maiyaki, the governor said the demise of Ayoola was a big loss not only to NAN but to the entire state and country.

It said news of the death of the seasoned journalist came at a critical time when her wealth of experience in reporting was greatly needed.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the immediate family, colleagues and friends of the late Ayoola’’, the statement said

It urged her family to take solace in the fact that she lived a good life marked by service to humanity through selfless practice of journalism.

The governor prayed for the repose of her soul and for God to grant her family and colleagues, the fortitude to bear the loss. (NAN)
