Abuja –  A group, Concerned Nigerian Network in Diaspora, has called on Nigerians to join hands with the Federal Government to make the country better.

President of the group, Mr James Erebuoye, made the call in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, and said that there was need for all hands to be on deck to make Nigeria the envy of other nations.

He implored Nigerians to be objective in their criticism of those in government, saying that this would enable them to improve on their lapses where necessary.

Erebuoye, however, congratulated the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amechi, for what he described as the transformation in the Police Force and the transport sector, respectively.

According to him, the transformation in the two sectors was a sharp contrast from what obtained in the past and should be commended.

The group president urged Nigerians to see the police as their friend and not to take laws into their hands.

´´Rotimi Amechi has done well as minister of transport and we will like to commend him for a job well done so also is the IG,’’ he said.

He added that Nigerians should learn to be appreciative and encourage the country´s leaders who performed outstandingly in their various offices in different capacities. (NAN)
