Auxiliary Bishop of Owerri Achdiocese, Moses Chikwe has been released.
The bishop and his driver were abducted on Sunday, 27 December 2020 along New Owerri, Imo State.
It was gathered that Chikwe was released in a sting operation conducted by men of the Imo state police command.
Though details of his release are still sketchy the Command’s spokesman, SP Orlando Ikeokwu confirmed his release.
He said Chikwe and his driver were released “unhurt, without ransom, sequel to a sting operation by the men of the Imo State Police Command.” (News Echo)
