The Kwara State Government has ratified the appointment of Tunde Abdulrahman as the new technical adviser of Kwara United FC of Ilorin and he is to be assisted by four other tacticians.

The club in a statement signed by the General Manager of the team, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma on Monday said Abdulrahman would be assisted by the former Technical Adviser of the team Tunde Sanni who will serve as Chief Coach,Goal.com revealed.
Former Nigeria international, Jimoh Balogun as assistant coach while Kareem Elemosho joined the club as goalkeeper trainer with Mustapha Ganiyu appointed as trainer of the club.
Maigidansanma also appealed to the fans of the club to keep supporting while asking them to make positive suggestions that would help advance the interest of the Afonja Warriors in the elite division.
Abdulrahman who had led over six clubs from relegation to the lower league back to the premier league worked with Wikki last season and was instrumental to their return to the top flight after just a season in the lower league but he was not offered the job at the expiration of his contract while Unuanel who had similar experience with Kwara United was told to step aside too.
