Mr Kayode Saheed, the facility’s Relationship Manager, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that the cinema halls were being renovated to raise their standard.
The mall, situated on the Lagos Island, occupies a total of 12,000 sq. metres.
It consists of 7,000 sq. metres of rented spaces for retail shops, food courts, restaurants, two cinema halls, office suites and an event centre.
Saheed said the renovation would be completed by the end of January.
According to him, the management has given the running of the cinema section to Genesis Delux Cinemas.
“We handed over the cinema section to Genesis Deluxe Cinemas to manage because we believe they can operate it effectively.
“Indeed, we know that our visitors expect a certain level of service, so we are doing all we can to give them that experience.
“For instance, we have installed a new escalator worth millions of naira, and we are constantly strategising to improve on the general outlook of the mall,’’ Saheed said.
The manager, who expressed confidence in the new operators, assured that the new management would come up with lots of attractions and current movies that would attract people to the facility.
He added that apart from the cinema halls, the entire mall itself would also undergo a facelift in a bid to boost tourism in the state.
Saheed added:“The management understands that shopping experience must guarantee top class facilities and services.
“We want to increase human traffic thereby creating a memorable shopping experience.’’(NAN)
