Lagos – Some oil and gas marketers on Thursday lauded the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) for giving Q4 import allocations to few fuel importers with good track records.
They gave their commendation in interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
They alleged that some importers were in the habit of selling their allocations to third parties.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”70560″]
The marketers, who preferred anonymity, said that the ugly trend was responsible for the hike in the pump price of petrol to the end users.
They said the PPPRA’s strategy was good because the Q4 allocation was always very sensitive and the best PPPRA could do was to give allocations to marketers with good track record. (NAN)
