Abuja (Sundiata Post) –Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACABAN), has lambasted former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his letter to President Buhari not to run for second term in 2019, saying it is a ploy to install his crony.
According to the Nasarawa State Chairman of MACBAN, Muhammed Hussaini, Obasanjo was only trying to be politically clever by half as he sought to install a crony in 2019.
He said, “Obasanjo wants to install one of his cronies to be the next President of Nigeria; someone he will be controlling from his bedroom.
“Obasanjo brought Jonathan alongside late President Umaru Yar’adua with the intention to remote-control them and after the demise of Yar’adua, Jonathan defied Obasanjo’s unnecessary interference in his government and he turned against him.”
Sundiata Post recalls that former President Olusegun Obasanjo has written a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari urging him not to present himself for re-election but to retire honourably as his administration has performed below expectation. (The Herald).
