ILORIN – The management of Kwara United FC of Ilorin on Wednesday commended the state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed for his support.
The General Manager of the club, Haruna Maigidasanma, made the commendation at a meeting in Ilorin to brief the players, officials of the club.
Maigidasanma assured the players of the management’s financial obligations to the team.
He commended the team’s doggedness in the Nigerian National League (NNL) so far and added that the management was happy with their performance.
He asked them to remain focus in the second stanza of the competition.
The club’s administrator charged the players to win their Federation Cup match against Sharks of Port Harcourt in Benin next Wednesday.
He also challenged them to be disciplined both on and off the pitch.
Responding on behalf of the players and officials, the team’s Technical Adviser, Samson Unuanel, assured the management of their good performance on the resumption of the league and Federation Cup.
Unuanel promised that the technical crew and the players would ensure discipline at all times, adding that their regaining promotion to the Globacom Premier League was not negotiable. (NAN)
