Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday confirmed 157 new cases of #COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The report released via it’s twitter handle account said the fresh infections brought the total confirmed cases to 65,305 out of which 61,162 patients have been discharged from various isolation facilities across the country.
The health agency stated that the 157 cases were recorded from 9 out of the 36 states of the federation as follows:
Lagos-97
Oyo-37
Kaduna -9
Bayelsa-3
Edo-3
Ekiti-3
Ondo-2
Osun-2
Plateau-1
The NCDC further reported that 1,163 lives have been lost to COVID-19 related complications since the index case on 27th February 2020.
