Nicole Kidman set for London stage return in ‘Photograph 51’

London –  Nicole Kidman return to London theatre stage in September, to play British scientist Rosalind Franklin in “Photograph 51”, 17 years after made her West End debut.

play, by Anna Ziegler, story Franklin, whose X-ray diffraction images led to discovery DNA’s double helix structure in 1953.

Academy Award winner Kidman debuted British stage in 1998 David Hare play “ Blue Room” at London’s Donmar Warehouse in a critically-acclaimed performance.

It was described in as “pure theatrical viagra”.

British director Michael Grandage direct “Photograph 51”, reuniting with Kidman following their feature film collaboration “Genius”.

The play be staged at the Noel Coward Theatre.

The play would see the return of Grandage’s theatre to London’s West End, following a run of productions in 2013/2014 such as “Henry V” starring British actor Jude Law.
