Abuja ( Sundiata Post) – Wife of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation; Precious Chikwendu has expressed their pleasure to have hosted the recently released Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in their home in Abuja.
Precious who took to her twitter“@Snowhitey” early Wednesday morning, posted some pictures her family took with the IPOB leader during his visit, describing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as a wonderful and courageous man.
According to her, “My husband FFK and I receiving the great Nnamdi Kanu in our home. What a wonderful and courageous man”! She twitted.
Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in October 2015 following allegations of treasonable felony by the Buhari-led Federal Government.
He was held in the custody of the State Security Service till the ruling in January 2016 when the Federal High Court ordered that the detained Biafra agitator be kept in prison custody. Following the ruling, Kanu was moved to Kuje Prison.
Kanu was however, granted bail on Wednesday, April 26, by Justice Binta Nyako.
On Friday, April 28, Mr. Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, confirmed that his client had fulfilled the bail conditions given to him by Mrs. Nyako.
Sundiata Post recalls that the duo of Chief Femi Fani Kayode and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu were at some points in Kuje prison together.
