Akure – Oba Festus Olumoyegun, the traditional ruler of Iju-Odo Kingdom in Okitipupa Council area of Ondo State, has congratulated the state Governor-Elect, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), for his victory at the Nov. 26 Governorship Election.
The message is contained in a letter by Olumoyegun to Akeredolu and his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi, in Akure on Tuesday.
“The success of Akeredolu in the election was a vindication of his (Aketi) hard-work, diligence and integrity that he has mustered over the years,” the royal father said.
He prayed for fruitful and successful tenure as Akeredolu takes over the mantle of leadership of Ondo State on Feb. 24, 2017.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Iju-Odo is the country home of the former Governor of the State, late Dr Olusegun Agagu.
