Osun Alerts On Kidnap of Perm Sec, Director, Driver

OSOGBO (Sundiata Post) – The Osun State Government has alerted the public on the kidnap of three of its officials in Kogi State.
A statement issued by Mr. Sunday Olayinka Owoeye, head of service, said the incident happened on Friday.
‎The statement further reads: “The kidnapped officials are the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Adebimpe Ogunlumade; Director, State Audit, Mr. Tajudeen Badejoko, and the Driver, Mr. Oladapo Ajani Arogundade.
“Preliminary information available to us indicate that the gunmen accosted them between Obajana and Lokoja the Kogi State capital and forced to stop before the three officials were violently whisked away.
“The officials were returning from Abuja where they attended the briefing on the State and Local Government Reforms Project; a World Bank and European Union Programme.
“The (State) Government has alerted all necessary security agencies nationwide in general and Kogi State in particular towards safe release of the three abducted officials.”
